Dit evenement is een tweedaagse kunstroute in het fraaie landschap rond Lonneker (Enschede) en in het culturele hart van Enschede, het Roombeek Cultuurpark. Onderweg kun je genieten van verrassende kunstwerken, installaties en performances.
Het Lonneker landschap is bezaaid met installaties, schilderijen en sculpturen gemaakt door meer dan 40 eigenzinnige en spraakmakende kunstenaars. In het glooiende essenlandschap worden de kunstwerken op een natuurlijke manier opgenomen.
Riejart Bus ontwerpt een geometrisch fossiel in de Twentse bodem vlak langs de Roombeek. Vreemde strakke grazers van Albert Kramer staan in een wei. In een boomgaard hangt ‘Natuurlijk werk’ van Elsbeth Cochius en Hedy Hempe: vreemde vruchten die een metamorfose ondergaan. Aan een oude muur bungelen wonderlijke wezens van Yvonne Halfens. Een reusachtige man ontworpen door Vincent Boelaarts lijkt te staan op water: probeert hij een vijver leeg te laten lopen? In een schuur maken we kennis met de installatie ‘Pogingen tot poëzie’ van het kunstenaarsduo Sage. Over de es beweegt langzaam een geluidssculptuur van de groep ‘Roest’. Verspreid over het KunstenLandschap dragen dichters hun poëzie voor en geven acteurs theatervoorstellingen.
In het cultuurcluster in de wijk Roombeek zijn verschillende interessante evenementen te bekijken: de expositieruimte van AKI-ArtEZ, 21Rozendaal en de TETEM kunstruimte zijn geopend en verschillende galerieën, waaronder Kunsthandel Bert Kuipers en kunstateliers laten hun collecties zien.
De kunstroute is ongeveer 8 kilometer lang en is open van 11.00 uur tot 17.00 uur. Het is ideaal de route met de fiets af te leggen maar lopen kan ook. Met de auto zijn lang niet alle delen van de route te bereiken.
Losse deelnemerskaarten kosten 3 euro (incl. routebeschrijving en een kunstbon met kans op 250 euro aan kunst). De catalogus met informatie over de kunstenaars en hun werken kost ook 3 euro.
De start- en verkooppunten zijn op het Lonneker Dorpsplein en bij de TwentseWelle voor Museum Restaurant “bijRozendaal”, Het Rozendaal 10, (Roombeek) Enschede.
Over KunstEnLandschap
Klein begonnen met plaatselijke kunstenaars en galeries, uitgegroeid tot een evenement met een breed scala aan professionele kunstenaars met een groot aantal bezoekers en veel vrijwilligers. Vanaf het begin ging het om de combinatie van kunst en landschap, het samengaan van natuur en cultuur, de buitenruimte als expositieplek. Daarbij streeft de organisatie naar een mix van kunstwerken, van toegankelijk tot grensverleggend, van specifiek voor een plek gemaakte kunstwerken tot bestaande kunstwerken die op een mooie manier in het landschap geëxposeerd worden.
